The Harimau FX350/400 is a ship featured in Wipeout Pulse and Wipeout HD. An alternate version with improved speed appears in the Fury expansion pack.
Description (Wipeout Pulse)[]
The Harimau ship handles excellently, but its performance in other areas is above average at best. Despite this, the Asian team consistently get results out on the track.
Overview[]
Looking at the statistics, the Harimau on face value appears to be inferior to the Assegai, sharing all stats but thrust, which it lacks. Raw statistics aside, the Harimau craft does have its own unique feel to it. So as to say, some may prefer it to the Assegai, mainly because of its looks. Ultimately, it's all a matter of personal opinion of trying every craft and seeing which craft one prefers. Quite surprisingly, in Wipeout Pulse, the Harimau seems to handle slightly better than the ship stats suggests.
Fury[]
The Fury craft has received a considerable speed boost and a small thrust upgrade, finally differentiating it from the Assegai which excels more in thrust.
