A+ Challenges

A+ Challenges are one of the unique event types in Wipeout 2048. It is the only event type that features the fastest speed class in the game, the A+ Class.

Gameplay

An A+ Challenge node can be unlocked by ranking up, starting from Rank 24. As soon as one becomes available, one must search for the hidden chevron-shaped node somewhere on the Single Player Campaign event select screen to access it. There are a total of 10 challenges, one for each track. The A+ Challenge race is by far the most difficult event type that any casual or less experienced racer will be likely to fail. Consisting of a ten-lap race against considerably tougher opponents, this will serve to test racers' skills and endurance. Completing an A+ Challenge with ELITE PASS can be considered an achievement in itself, especially if done with a slower or less agile ship. In addition, one can get a significant XP boost by completing this kind of event.
